Yoga for Teens: Bedtime Yoga

Posted on May 5, 2020May 21, 2020 by newschoolyoga

With students around the world learning from home due to school closures, teens are struggling to maintain a healthy sleep schedule.  I’m hearing from my students that they are staying up all night and having trouble falling asleep.  As a result, they are sleeping for much of the day and finding themselves working on homework all evening long.  For some, this schedule works.  Others are wishing they could get back into a “normal” routine so they have time for school work and some fun later on.

To help, I’m sharing a simple, ten minute bedtime yoga sequence designed to help teens let go of the day and relax before bed.

Teens, put on your PJ’s and enjoy this practice.  Parents and teachers, please share this video with the teens in your life.  (This practice would be beneficial for adults too!)

In the morning be sure to try my 10 minute Yoga to Start Your Day video!
